A club we wanted to exist, so we are building it.
Magnolia Park is the idea of founder James Griffiths: a place in the valley to train, play, recover and work, without any of the things that make most gyms a chore.
The best clubs are not really about the equipment. They are about the day you have when you are there.
Magnolia Park started with a simple frustration. Plenty of gyms have good kit. Very few are places you actually want to spend time. The lighting is grim, the coffee is worse, and the moment you finish training there is nothing to stay for. You come, you sweat, you leave. That is not a club. That is a car park with dumbbells.
So the plan for Magnolia Park is different. Take the best of a serious gym, add seven padel courts and a proper wellness setup, then wrap it in the things that make a place worth being: fresh air, good food, a real bar and a setting you would happily drive past your old gym to reach. Somewhere you arrive early and leave late, and bring your friends.
The setting
A valley worth building around.
Magnolia Park sits in the Hughenden Valley, just north of High Wycombe. Real grounds, real greenery and real quiet, a few minutes from town and an easy run from the M40 and the trains to London. The kind of place that turns a workout into a reason to get out of the house.
Rather than squeeze a club into a retail unit, we are building it into the landscape: an indoor gym with the hills through the glass, a covered outdoor gym on the grass, courts among the trees and a sauna and hot tub on a terrace made for evenings.
